In March, we came together in Vision Builders to hear the five vision priorities of our church for 2025—one of them being that we were believing in faith to see a permanent home established in Hamilton. We are so excited to share that we have officially secured our second permanent facility as a church! Yes, you read that right—the very building presented as a potential opportunity at Vision Builders is the very one we have received an ACCEPTED offer for—276 Kenilworth Ave in Hamilton has been claimed for the Lord!‍

A MIRACLE DEAL IN HAMILTON

Right on the corner of Barton & Kenilworth is where our new permanent facility is located—a site perfectly positioned to reach the heart of Hamilton. Here’s what makes it so significant: With 30,000 square feet, the opportunities in this building are nearly limitless. We envision this building holding a 600-seat auditorium with plenty of space to hold incredible Kids and Youth programs. Not only do we have ample space, but this building has mixed-use zoning, meaning it is already zoned as a place of worship, and we can immediately hold church services! Anything is possible for how we can use this space!

With Metrolinx's recent development plan to build the Hamilton Light Rail Transit (LRT) line just blocks away from this property, the city is focusing on making significant improvements to the area, including providing up to $50,000 in building grants to local businesses.

And here’s the miracle: Not only was our offer accepted by the seller—but they have agreed to give back 25% of the purchase price as a donation on closing day! This reduces our cash required up front in a significant way!This kind of favour is unheard of, so we know that God’s hand is in this deal!

HOW DO I BECOME A VISION BUILDER?

We believe that God has called each and every one of us to generously sacrifice above and beyond the tithe (10%) to see His Kingdom expanded in our cities. Each year, beginning in March, we do this by making a financial commitment until March 2026. Each person’s commitment will be different, so we want you to start by talking to God about what He’s calling you to give.

Step 1

COMMIT TO A PLAN

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance” –Proverbs 21:5

‍First, make a plan to give. When you have plans and are diligent, it leads to plenty (Pro. 21:5). What could you commit to giving between now and March 2026 that God has already enabled you to give with just a plan? This amount is sacrificial, yet totally achievable within your current financial circumstances. It could be $50/month, $100/month, or $1,000/month—the goal is not equal amounts per person, but equal sacrifice.

PRAY FOR A VISION

“Write the vision; make it plain … if it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come” –Habakkuk 2:2-3

‍Next, ask God for a vision of what He could do through you with His help. Ask Him to place a number on your heart and write it down (Hab. 2:2), believing in faith that He will move over the next twelve months to provide. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ (Phil. 4:19).

This amount is a FAITH number that is beyond what you could do in your natural income—stepping out in faith pleases God and we believe that He will do the miraculous so that you can give back to the Kingdom!

‍When you write this amount, it will be the total amount of your ‘plan’ number plus your ‘vision’ number together. For example: I plan to give $6,000 between now and March 2026, and am believing that God will miraculously provide $4,000—therefore my total vision number is $10,000 to give back to the Kingdom this year.

Step 3

WORK THE PLAN

Decide how you’re going to work your plan in order to fulfill your commitment between now and March 2026. This can be as easy and as practical as setting up monthly credit card payments, or scheduling pre-authorized withdrawals directly from your bank account.
